Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science, New Panvel Rifle Shooting team won the Runners-up title in the Mumbai University Rifle Shooting Championship held at Matunga from 8th - 9th December, 2014.

The team led by Final year M.Sc. student Prathik Deshmukh and International Shooter and S.Y.B.Com. student Tejas Karle out played many big names of Mumbai Shooting and settled with Runners-Up trophy in the pep sight and Bronze Medals in the open sight.

In the Open Category Tejas Karle won the Gold medal followed by Silver medal by Prathik Deshmukh.

Tejas Karle, F.Y.B.Com. student of Pillai College of Arts Commerce and Science, New Panvel made us proud again by winning Asian Rifle Shooting Championship Bronze medal at Tehran, Iran. He was representing the country in the event. This win is followed by another medal hunt at State and National Meet. In the State Meet he won Silver in the Seniors Category and won the Gold in the Juniors Category.

Earlier in August, Tejas stunned every won by winning team Gold Medal and Individual Gold medal at Gun for Glory National Shooting Championship held at Pune.
