Honourable Member of Legislative Assembly Mr. Prashant Thakur visited the Training Camp and Practice Session of Raigad District Senior Men Volleyball Team at the Multi-Functional Outdoor Synthetic Sports Complex at Dr. K. M. Vsudevan Pillai Campus. The MLA is received by Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai (CEO, MES), Dr. Priam Pillai (Chief Operating Officer, MES) and Mr. Janardhan Patil (Hon. Sec. Raigad District Volleyball Association). The District senior men volleyball team which is dominated by pillaite will participate in the senior state men volleyball championship scheduled to be held at Kolhapur from 10th to 14th December 2014.
Out of sixteen members in the camp twelve are from Pillai Group of Institutions mostly from Pillai College of Arts Commerce and Science, New Panvel and Pillai HOCL School and Junior College. Mumbai University team players Vinayak Upadhyay, Manoj Seegu, Dishant Rawat and School National player Jaydeep Holgar are the key players leading the team with much hope. All the district of Maharashtra will play in the State Championship which start with the initial knock-out stage of matches and followed by the best eight final league.
The MLA addressed the players and the gatheringand wishes them all the best for their good performance in the State Championship.
