Monsoon Soccer Fiesta - 2012
Mahatma Education Society's Chembur Campus organized a
5-a side Open Football Tournament at Sports Ground, Chembur Naka on 1st July, 2012. The Aim of the tournament was to feel the thrill of soccer during Monsoon, a total of 16 teams from various areas of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Raigad participated in this Knock-out tourney. Most of the teams were filled with Professional Footballers of various famous Mumbai Clubs.
The tournament was inaugurated by Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai, Secretary and CEO, MES at 09:00 hrs in the morning. In the Inaugural match Dr. Pillai Global Academy, Gorai beat CC FC Chembur by 1-0.
Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai, Secretary and CEO of Mahatma Education Society, inaugurated Monsoon Soccer Fiesta - 2012 with a kick-off. Next to him are Padmakshan Padmanabhan - MES Sports Director, Santosh Patil - Chembur Campus Sports In-Charge and Kishore Pujari - Sports Teacher / Match Official.
