Pillai HOC Educational Campus Sports division organized a Marathon run to support Raigad District Administration and District AIDS control and prevention unit. The run is organised to commemorate "World Youth Day". Hundreds of students / youths from the district participated in the race. The Race was flagged of by the Inspector of Police, Rasayani Police Station in the presence of Raigad District Programme Officer, Mohpada Gram Panchayat Sarpanch, District Programme Co-ordinator and Principal HOC International School.

Race is conducted for a distance of 2.5 kilometres and Sanjay Sharma from Pillai HOC International School stood first in the men category. Second and third positions go to Sandeep Maruti Korade of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Commerce and Science and Sangam Sadanand Varde of Karjat.

In the women section Sapna N. Sakare, 12th standard student of Pillai HOC International School stood first followed by Ruchita Patil and Puja Bhandarkar. District Programme Officer gives away the cash prizes and certificates to the winners.
