Ayonika Paul, International Ace Shooter  
Student of Pillai Institute of Information Technology, Engineering, Media Studies and Research, New Panvel
Achievements
  • Won National Gold in Rifle Shooting Championship.
  • The Indian Railway employed her permanently as an officer with them and she start representing Railways at various levels.
  • Won Individual Bronze and Team Gold Medal for the Nation by representing India in Asian Rifle Shooting Championship at Kuwait City.
  • Selected for Indian Team of Women's Rifle Shooting.
  • Won many medals at the International Level including Common Wealth Youth Games, Asian Championship etc.
  • Won the Mumbai University Individual title of Rifle Shooting.



Riya Pillai, International Badminton Player  
Student of Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science, New Panvel
Achievements
  • Selected by the Indian National Badminton squad for an International Series and Became No. 1 seeded Badminton Player of Under 19 years girls ranking of India.
  • Won University Badminton title for individual as well as team championship.
  • Won the Gold Medal in the Mumbai University Women's Badminton Championship.
  • No. 1 seed in Senior Women Badminton Player in Maharashtra.
  • No. 7 seed in Senior Indian Ranking of Badminton.
  • Represented India in the World Junior Badminton Championship, Japan.



Sruti Talnikar, National Table Tennis Player  
Student of Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science, New Panvel
Achievements
  • Selected as a permanent employee by the Indian Railway.
  • Stood first at All India Table Tennis trial held at Bhopal and ranked 4th at the All India Sr. Women Table Tennis Ranking of India.
  • Selected in to the probable players National Camp
  • Represented India in Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship.
  • Represented Indian Railway for the National Championship.
  • No. 1 seed in Maharashtra Table Tennis Women Category.



Tousif Shaikh, National Athletics and Octathlon State Champion  
Student of Pillai HOC International School, Rasayani
Achievements
  • Won the 110 High Hurdle State Gold Medal at State School Athletics Meet, Jalna by clocking 15:10 sec. and participated at the National School Athletics and stood 4th in the overall position.
  • Selected as probable for Asian Youth Athletics selection trial from Maharashtra.
  • Won the Octathlon Gold Medal at the Jr. State Athletics Championship held at Nagpur from 13th and 16th October, 2012.
  • Also won District and Divisional Gold Medals in 110 high hurdle and 400 low hurdles respectively during School Meet.
  • Won the Silver Medal at School National Games in Pentathlon.
  • Won the Silver Medal in Jr. National Athletic Meet and Inter Zone Athletics Meet.
  • Won the Gold Medal in Shotput at West Zone Athletics Meet.



Vinayak Upadhyay, National Volleyball Player

Achievements
  • 6+ feet tall Volley Ball Player.
  • Played for Under-18 boys national Volleyball Championship from Maharashtra.

Suryakumar Yadav, Cricketer Mumbai Indians  
Student of Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science, New Panvel
Achievements
  • Won the M. A. Chidambaram Trophy for the best Under-22 Cricketer of the year award at the BCCI Awards Ceremony held in Chennai on December 10, 2011.
  • He also played a starring role in the final of the Champions League Twenty 20 Cricket Tournament in which his team, the Mumbai Indians defeated the Royal Challengers from Bangalore.
  • He also scored a double hundred for Mumbai against Orissa in a Ranji Trophy game and then by scoring a cracking century against Saurashtra.
 



Jaydeep Holgar, National Volleyball Player

Achievements
  • Participated in the National Junior Volleyball Championship as well as the School Nationals.

Prakash Dhasade, Marathon Champion

Achievements
  • Won the Gold Medal in 10,000 meters and Silver Medal in 5,000 meters race respectively during Mumbai University Inter Collegiate Athletics Championship held at Sports Authority of India Stadium, Kandivali.
  • Won the Individual Championship of Mumbai University Inter Collegiate Half Marathon Championship held at Dr. T. N. College of Arts and Science, at Chiplun, Ratnagiri.
  • Selected for All India University Half Marathon Championship were the University of Mumbai is qualifying after 13 years.
  • The Champion Runner won the Silver Medal during Mumbai University Inter Collegiate Cross Country Championship held at Panvel during July 2012.
